This is a 1000 watt (1500 VA) UPS.
I have learned that the UPS only measures the power drawn by devices plugged into the battery backed part of the UPS. Devices plugged into the merely surge protected side are not monitored.
Just my linux machine (without monitor) draws 7 percent (70 watts)! When I also plug in the monitor, the combination draws 11 percent (110 watts).
Runtime with the 7 percent load would be 85 minutes. This drops to about 62 minutes with the 11 percent load.
