The QGIS program
This is open source and available for Mac, Linux, and Windows.
It was first written back in 2008, so it is quite mature.
Looking on Amazon there are at least a dozen books on QGIS,
and a multitude of videos and tutorials are available online.
QGIS clearly seems to be the top recommendation for free GIS
software that runs on linux.
My Projects
Here, in the order I intend to tackle them, are some projects I have in mind
to tackle with QGIS.
